Governance Framework

The Governance Framework brings together the key elements of the College’s governance arrangements into a single, integrated model. Organised around five interconnected pillars, it demonstrates how strategic governance, academic oversight, executive leadership, student engagement and independent assurance work together to support effective decision-making, institutional accountability and continuous improvement. Each pillar has a distinct role while contributing to a coherent governance system that enables the Board of Governors to discharge its responsibilities in the interests of students, the College and the wider public interest. Together, these pillars provide the framework

through which the College promotes academic quality, financial sustainability, regulatory compliance and effective institutional governance. The sections that follow explain each pillar in greater detail and demonstrate how they contribute to the College’s overall governance framework.
