Academic Leadership

Academic leadership is central to the College’s mission of delivering a high-quality educational experience.

Working closely with the Academic Governance Framework, academic leaders are responsible for supporting programme delivery, curriculum development, assessment management and academic enhancement activities. They play an important role in ensuring that academic standards are maintained and that students receive the support necessary to achieve positive outcomes.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  1. Programme delivery and oversight;
  2. Curriculum development and review;
  3. Assessment and feedback processes;
  4. Academic staff development;
  5. Student academic support;
  6. Monitoring academic performance; and
  7. Supporting quality enhancement activities.
