Description
This programme has been specially devised to prepare and equip students, especially international students, who intend to study for a law degree delivered and assessed in the English language. It seeks to develop the legal English and study skills which, together with legal knowledge and understanding, are so vital for success at university.
The ability to argue rationally, to think rigorously, and to express themselves persuasively in English will be as important to the future success of students as their knowledge of points of law. Indeed this Programme seeks to equip students to be effective independent learners, able to access and use legal documents and other sources, whether statutes, cases, reports or articles.
